The Community Dental Center, a non-profit in Charlottesville VA, has seen over 63,000 patients in 10 years. Operating as a non-profit dental center has its challenges. Virginia Medicaid reimbursement is ranked the 47th lowest in the nation and covers only about 80% of operating costs. Generous donations from our sponsors and donors help cover the annual short fall in our operating budget.
